So where are we going?

We will start on the Cunard ship Queen Mary 2 on a transatlantic voyage to New York.

After a few days in New York we will start our rail trip across the USA. We have planned stops in Chicago, Glacier National Park, Seattle and finally Vancouver, Canada. We will then travel to Alaska on the Princess cruise ship Island Princess, and spend a week exploring the Alaskan interior before leaving for the south pacific.

A few weeks island hopping through Hawaii, Samoa and Fiji will lead us to New Zealand.

We will be in New Zealand for a couple of months and then move on to Australia. We plan to spend some time in Melbourne, one of our favourite cities before traveling from south to north via Adelaide, Alice Springs and Cairns. We will be spending Christmas 2016 in Darwin.

We will be in Bali to see in the New Year 2017, and will then spend a month travelling through Indonesia before arriving in Singapore. After Singapore its on to Malaysia for the Chinese New Year before flying to Sri Lanka.

We will have three weeks exploring Sri Lanka before flying to Dubai. A few days there and then on to Budapest to catch a river cruise along the Danube and Rhine to Amsterdam. From Amsterdam we will then get the Eurostar train home.
