Shaftesbury

We left for Shaftesbury at about 3:00pm via Sean’s to see his new exhibition. I had misread the invitation and so we got there at the end not the start. He has done some good stuff and he is sharing with a felt artist.

We then travelled on to Shaftesbury and arrived about 8:30. The next day Julie took us for a walk around the town and showed us bits she has kept secret for 30 years! It is a very nice place and can see why they have been so happy here. We stopped for a drink in an old coaching inn and had a great pint. Julie then cooked a sunday roast and we sat and watched us thrash the USA in the Ryder Cup. Good Day.

  1. Have a safe tour and enjoy your reunion. All’s well in Hadders, work a tad hectic with the conversion to academy. Let me know if you get within striking distance of a pub meet. We HAVE(!!) definate plans to head south in 2019.
